What we’re looking for?

We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to support the continuous growth of our Sportsbook and Casino platforms; this position will have a lot of ownership of the shape of the backend implementation. As the senior backend engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Be a technical point of contact for various stakeholders.

• Be technically talented, able to contribute quality code, and being passionate about the technology.

• Be responsible for the quality, scope, and timeliness of all your deliverables.

Requirements

We are looking for an engineer who is willing to tackle problems with innovative ideas and quality technical implementations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent work experience (6+ years)

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Extensive experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot

• A deep understanding of AWS Cloud technologies and how to create scalable multi-region applications.

• Experience with the following technologies:

  • RDBMS (ex, Postgresql, CockroachDB)

  • Streaming technologies (Kafka)

  • Message Queues (SQS, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)

  • Experience working within an agile development.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)

  • Experience with Micro-Service and Monolith architectures

  • Experience with Sports betting and Casinos is a plus.
