What’s the position?

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Release Manager to join our Service Operations team and play a key role in supporting software delivery, releases, and infrastructure changes — particularly for our fast-moving Casino product teams.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end coordination of scheduled and ad-hoc releases, working closely with engineering, compliance, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery, stability, and transparency across our environments and processes.

This is a hands-on operational role with a strong delivery focus, requiring coordination across backend, frontend, and mobile applications — with some releases happening daily.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development teams with bi-weekly releases, daily fixes, cutovers, and ad-hoc deployments.

  • Plan and execute hotfixes and service restarts during EU business hours.

  • Coordinate Go/No-Go meetings, ensure release approvals are in place, and manage related documentation.

  • Handle post-release activities such as issue tracking, retrospectives, and transitioning Jira tickets.

  • Monitor the timely delivery of code and tickets, flag delays, and work with teams to resolve blockers.

  • Participate in change advisory board (CAB) meetings and contribute to change evaluations.

  • Communicate upcoming changes and incidents to relevant stakeholders clearly and proactively.

  • Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure all releases meet regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure all approvals and compliance documentation are completed prior to deployment.

  • Maintain a structured history of changes, including runbooks and release calendars.

  • Ensure the stability and reliability of environments that support the release and delivery process.

  • Coordinate environment updates following production deployments.Support the development and maintenance of automation tools used in the release process.

  • Contribute to the definition and improvement of internal processes and release/change best practices.

  • Maintain and improve documentation supporting the entire software delivery lifecycle.


Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Based in Europe, preferably Poland

  • 2+ years of experience as a Release Manager, Change Manager, or in a similar DevOps/Service Operations

  • Experience working with backend, frontend, and mobile apps are releases.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-related changes

  • Familiarity with release/change management, service transitions, and deployment workflows

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git-based codebases

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous experience in companies that develop their own products

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow)

  • Experience coordinating across multiple engineering teams
