👉 Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a project for one of our clients based in the Republic of South Africa. Our mission is to support the existing team in developing a new FinTech platform.

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building a lending management solution designed to streamline the client’s various systems and databases. The initial focus will be on creating an API layer to integrate and manage internal systems, followed by the development of a client-facing portal. Over time, this platform will evolve into the company’s default loan management tool.

We are looking for candidates who can start relatively soon.

👉 Requirements:

🔹 Strong experience with C# and .NET 6/7

🔹 Hands-on experience building and maintaining REST APIs (authentication/authorization, pagination, error handling, logging)

🔹 Solid knowledge of Entity Framework Core and relational databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)

🔹 Proficiency with Angular 13+ (components, RxJS, NgRx, lazy loading, routing)

🔹 Good understanding of UI/UX best practices (responsive design, accessibility, unit testing with Jasmine/Karma)

🔹 Practical experience with AWS services

🔹 Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline)

🔹 Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Serilog)

🔹 Writing unit and integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, Jest, Cypress)

🔹 Experience with Docker (Kubernetes basics would be a plus)

🔹 Strong understanding of Git

🔹 Experience with software architecture patterns (Clean Architecture, Microservices)

🔹 Integrations with third-party systems (CRM, scoring engines, payment gateways)

🔹 Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, SQS, SNS)

🔹 Ability to work independently and make technical decisions

🔹 Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher) to collaborate with international teams

🔹 Openness to feedback and teamwork in a team extension model
