The market today is still largely analog and highly dysfunctional. Care is inadequate and caregivers often earn too little. Our goal is to bring transparency to this opaque market and empower caregivers to deal with their daily challenges with services that make their lives easier.
We address problems that every family with elderly relatives faces - by improving care through technology and giving patients the opportunity to age in dignity in their familiar environment.
We are looking for a QA engineer with a knack for breaking things. Your focus will be split into exploratory testing to expose any possible issues in the marta platform, and writing automating tests to expand our regression testing suite. You will need to have developer experience to write and maintain tests and associated QA tooling.
Responsibilities
- Exploratory testing on the platform frontend and APIs to ensure a high level of availability and security.
- Writing automated tests and ensuring a high level of code coverage.
- Setting and monitoring quality standards, from API designs and schemas to the size of the application bundle and application performance.
- Exposing and monitoring platform metrics to provide visibility and monitoring of any platform issues.
Skills
- A creative mindset into different ways we can stress or break the platform.
- Hands on experience with Javascript/NodeJs and its testing ecosystem.
- Experience with BDD testing.
- Experience with selenium / automated browser tests.
- Understanding of different testing methodologies and strategies.
- Experience with Git flows.
- Experience with Restful APIs.
- Experience with bug hunting by tracing through platform logs / using developer tools.
- Experience with benchmarking platform performance.
- Basic experience with bash and shell scripting.
- German language skills are a plus
