IoT C++ Software Development Engineer – Build Smart Heating Systems in the IoT Space!

You will work in an experienced, agile SCI team, making a real impact on the future of intelligent heating systems.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain C++ software on Embedded Linux for Smart Home gateway solutions

• Perform unit testing (Google Test), static code analysis (Coverity), and integration/system-level testing (Robot Framework)

• Develop and extend software architecture in close collaboration with other teams

• Take responsibility for product monitoring and support throughout the product lifecycle

• Work in Agile teams, achieving sprint and project goals

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong C++ (OOP) skills and CMake

• Experience in Embedded Linux development

• Familiarity with SOMEIP communication protocols

• Testing experience: Google Test, Robot Framework (Python)

• Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban)

• Knowledge of IoT solutions, Git/GitHub Actions/Azure build pipelines

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence

• Good command of English

Nice to Have:

• Smart Home integration and heating systems experience

• AI-supported development processes

• Experience with Polarion

• Good command of German
