Technical Writer
We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join a specialized team working on documentation for one of the world's most widely used mobile communication and dialing ecosystems.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between complex engineering solutions and external partners. Your primary focus will be creating, structuring, and improving integration documentation used directly by global telecom operators (cellular carriers) and hardware manufacturers. Beyond writing, you will act as a mentor, auditor, and key contributor to our content architecture and CMS migration strategies.
Essential functions
End-to-End Documentation: Independently create, update, manage, and audit technical documentation for hardware and cellular carrier integrations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with strict company standards.
Information Architecture & CMS: Contribute to the organization and structuring of content. Participate in projects involving the migration of documentation to new Content Management Systems (CMS), including auditing and updating content.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Managers, and developers to gather detailed information, clarify requirements, and initiate technical design discussions.
Project & Quality Management: Communicate project status to stakeholders, follow quality standards, and successfully handle customer/partner feedback or complaints to ensure high satisfaction.
Mentorship & Leadership: Support and mentor interns and Tier 1 engineers on technical questions, contribute to training creation, and conduct technical interviews for junior roles.
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial experience creating technical documentation.
Excellent written English with the ability to quickly adapt to comprehensive corporate style guides.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in the Documentation Development Lifecycle, Markup languages, CMS, Research, and Requirements Gathering.
Mobile Ecosystems: Familiarity with mobile operating systems and communication environments.
AI Readiness: Basic experience or strong familiarity with using Generative AI tools in daily tasks.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to master complexity, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
Core Soft Skills: High change agility, strong collaboration and communication skills (including giving/receiving feedback), and a strong customer focus.
Location Flexibility: Readiness to work from our modern offices in Kraków or Wrocław for 3 days a week.
