Senior QA Automation Engineer with JavaScript

We’re looking for a skilled JavaScript Quality Engineer. You’ll work with frameworks like Webdriver.io, Cypress, and Playwright, expanding our reach and capabilities in web testing. Essential functions

• Develop and maintain JavaScript Node.js SDKs for client's Web accessibility testing engine, including libraries for frameworks like Webdriver.io, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Extend the functionality of supported frameworks to enhance our testing capabilities and provide a seamless developer experience.
• Collaborate with the team to harmonize SDK frameworks, ensuring consistency and maintainability across different tools.
• Design and develop new SDKs to expand the reach of our accessibility testing engine and support additional frameworks.
• Optimize SDK performance, maintainability, and usability through continuous improvement and iteration.
• Participate in the Scrum process, contributing to planning, estimating, and delivering features and bug fixes.
• Implement best code quality, testing, and documentation practices to ensure the SDKs are robust and easy to use.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript programming language and its ecosystem.
• Proven experience with test automation frameworks such as Webdriver.io, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel.
• Knowledge of JavaScript testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
• Experience with version control systems, notably Git and GitHub.
• Understanding accessibility principles and guidelines (WCAG, WAI-ARIA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its benefits in SDK development is a plus.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing and debugging.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
