Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a Capacity Management and Engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in optimizing the infrastructure for a leading global technology company, working directly alongside their core engineering staff.

About the project:The Capacity Management and Engineering Team's mission is to use an engineering-driven approach to manage, forecast, attribute, measure, and optimize large-scale infrastructure capacity. Our work directly impacts the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of one of the world's largest tech infrastructures.

Essential functions

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot on the back-end.

• Build and maintain user interfaces using React, Redux, and JavaScript to visualize complex capacity data.

• Optimize database queries and design schemas in PostgreSQL to handle large volumes of performance and utilization data.

• Collaborate with capacity planners and product managers to define requirements for new visibility and optimization tools.

• Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, code review, and deployment.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, and high availability in a critical production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Back-End Engineering Skills: Expert proficiency with Java and the Spring Boot framework.

• Database Expertise: Proven experience with SQL, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Strong Front-End Skills: Deep expertise in JavaScript, React, and Redux.

Would be a plus

• Experience with Spark or other large-scale data engineering technologies.

• Previous experience in capacity planning, infrastructure monitoring, or optimization projects.
