Senior AI Architect

Grid Dynamics (NASDAQ:GDYN) is looking for a Senior AI Architect to lead major engagements with Fortune 1000 clients and develop the Generative AI practice across the USA, Europe, and Asia business units. We are looking for a result-oriented thought-leader to drive disruptive innovation and capability building in Generative AI, Agentic solutions, and LLMOps; a trusted advisor to our customers across verticals to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions.

Essential functions:

• Pre-Sales and Consulting: Lead Generative AI consulting engagements, pre-sales activities and assessments, and discovery workshops. Plan AI programs of Fortune-1000 enterprises and lead teams of AI/ML engineers who work on client accounts and drive consulting engagements to success.
• Technology Strategy and R&D: Create and bring to the market solutions in enterprise AI and generative AI. Drive innovation through re and development activities on industry trends, leading RnD teams, developing assets and solutions strategy across multiple industries.
• Engineering: Work with Grid Dynamics’s delivery organization to ensure that the right tools, technologies, and processes are in place across the firm to transform and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of AI/ML solutions for our clients.
• Partnership Development: Develop relationships with key technology partners such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or NVIDIA.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in generative AI solutions for at least one of the following domains: customer facing such as products ; employee productivity such as knowledge management systems; supply chain and manufacturing such as equipment operations.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience with deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision. Good understanding of LLM strengths and limitations, usage techniques.
• Extensive practical experience in AI/ML platforms, MLOps, LLMOps, and corresponding tooling including open-source, cloud native, and proprietary.
• Experience in managing and delivering sophisticated analytical programs and AI/ML solutions at the enterprise scale.
• Deep domain knowledge in at least one of the following industries: Finance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail. 
• Experience with leading teams of senior technologists, willingness and ability to drive the practice development, pre-sales collaboration, and delivery in a consulting environment.
• Experience managing key client relations worldwide and advised global technology and business leaders on innovation and data strategy.

Technology skills:

• Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and familiarity with the others.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, LangGraph, CrewAI, and traditional ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
• Hands-on expertise in creating GenAI applications: Closed and open source LLMs, RAG, Agentic Systems, Observability & monitoring, Fine-tuning
• MLOps and LLMOps: Vertex AI, Sagemaker, Databricks, vector databases and  engines
