Java Developer

We’re looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a fast-paced, cross-functional team responsible for building and maintaining high-performance payment systems for a global financial leader. If you're passionate about writing clean, scalable code and enjoy working with modern technologies in a collaborative environment—this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs
• Contribute to system enhancements and performance improvements
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Write secure, scalable code using Java, J2EE, Spring, and RESTful APIs
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
• Ensure production readiness and help troubleshoot operational issues
• Contribute to documentation and deployment processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and technical optimization

Min requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development using Java technologies
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring (Boot, MVC), Hibernate, and REST APIs
• Solid experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Artifactory
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for building reliable, high-quality software

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Humio) is a plus
• Experience with large-scale enterprise applications
• Exposure to cloud environments and AI-enhanced monitoring
• Hands-on mindset with a drive for continuous learning
