AI/Robotics Engineer
We are looking for an AI/Robotics Engineer to join a fast-paced innovation-driven team focused on building intelligent robotic systems and AI-powered automation solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in robotics, machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous systems.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product stakeholders, and researchers to design, develop, and optimize robotic platforms and AI-driven capabilities for real-world applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered robotics solutions for real-world operational environments.
Build and optimize software for robotic perception, navigation, motion planning, and autonomous decision-making.
Develop and integrate machine learning models, computer vision pipelines, and sensor fusion systems.
Work with robotics middleware and frameworks such as ROS/ROS2.
Integrate robotic systems with cloud, edge, and IoT infrastructures.
Collaborate with hardware engineers and embedded teams to ensure seamless integration between software and physical systems.
Develop simulation environments and testing frameworks for robotics applications.
Improve system reliability, scalability, safety, and performance.
Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of robotics systems.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and client-facing conversations.
Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in AI, robotics, automation, and autonomous systems.
Min requirements:
MS or PhD degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in AI, robotics, autonomous systems, or related engineering domains.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and experience with robotics frameworks and libraries
Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and platforms, such as ROS (Robot Operating System), Gazebo and Isaac Sim/Omniverse
Experience with robotic perception and manipulation algorithms, such as path planning and motion control
Strong understanding of robotic hardware components and subsystems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems
Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and computer vision models
Experience in manufacturing industry and understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, surface treatment, painting, and polishing is a strong advantage
