We’re looking for a passionate Senior Python Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of mental health technology. You’ll design and develop scalable backend solutions that ensure reliability, performance, and seamless data flow across our platform. Working with Python 3.9, Django 4.x, and Flask, you’ll build and maintain REST APIs, manage integrations with third-party services, and contribute to a modern microservice architecture using gRPC and Pub/Sub. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead by example through clean, efficient code, and ensure best practices are followed. Experience with PostgreSQL, React, and GCP will be highly valued.

Your location: Poland, Bulgaria, Romania. Czechia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Spain

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a mental health platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness

• Implement and manage API integrations with third-party services

• Write and maintain internal logic for synchronized data, ensuring accuracy and reliability

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend and backend engineers

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development

  
  

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Python Engineer (Python 3.9)

• Extensive experience with Django framework (Django 4.x) and Flask

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with REST API design and implementation

• Deep understanding of microservice architecture, with experience working with gRPC

• Experience with asynchronous communication patterns, including Pub/Sub mechanism

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and advanced querying

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• Good command of English, both spoken and written

• Experience with React and frontend development
