EasySaaS team is building a core platform layer in GCP enabling all other teams to build managed SaaS services at scale.

This enables Service Producers teams both - inside Google - and outside (aiming external ISV/SaaS producers) to build SaaS Products, which can be deployed, upgraded and managed automatically, making those services a seamlessly integrated part of Google Cloud Platform, and running across our Central Google Cloud Platform, as well as on Google Distributed Clouds and other cloud environments. The growth of ecosystem of Managed Services in GCP is further accelerating the growth of the whole Google Cloud Platform (GCP), making EasySaaS a critical part of Cloud’s success.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of a large part of EasySaaS driving architecture, the external APIs etc.
• Ensure proper scalability (many of SaaS service producers are deploying millions of instances of their service) and reliability.
• Provide technical oversight over the delivery of projects and their quality.
• Work with key stakeholders and key customers both internally and externally (in cooperation with the product) to translate their needs and constraints into technical designs and technical roadmaps .
• Perform experiments, trying out various design, open source technologies in order to verify design assumptions, or test various solutions with customers.
