In this role, you will be a part of the Cluster Management (Borg) team responsible for critical software that configures and runs Google data centers, helping us drive the long term security roadmap for Borg to bring significant user experience improvements to customers. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing features affecting all services at Google, with projects running the gamut of distributed computing, new features and platform support. Responsibilities

• Define the security goal for Borg.

• Design solutions to problems or efforts spanning through multiple systems in and outside of the team.

• Deliver multi-million impact in savings and optimizations.

• Plan and follow effort execution.

• Represent the team in technical reviews and discussion at all levels.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• 8 years of technical leadership experience.

• Experience in documented software engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale computing, distributed systems.
