    Job description

    About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Chrome OS delivers quality computing at scale to provide universal and unfettered access to information, entertainment, and tools. Our mission is to empower anyone to create and access information freely through fast, secure, simple, and intelligent computing.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with teams across Chrome to build positive experiences across addresses, forms of payments, and other fields.
    • Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of cross-functional projects.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Engineering, UX, UX Research, Marketing, Legal, and PR.
    • Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and UX research outcomes to look for areas of improvement in the form of new features, new controls, quality improvements, and new UI design.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
    • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in product delivery with the ability to break down an ambiguous problem space into tangible short-term steps.
    • Experience with consumer-facing products.
    • Knowledge in cross-functional areas including engineering, user experience and user research.
    • Knowledge in web development, web capabilities, and threat models.
    • Ability to articulate product ideas, and document both short-term plans and long-term strategy.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organization, and investigative skills, with the ability to meld quantitative data, qualitative insights, work on projects spanning multiple teams, and own product instincts.

    Benefits:

    • Health and Wellbeing (Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents)
    • Financial wellbeing (Competitive compensation, regular bonus and equity refresh opportunities)
    • Flexibility and time off (Paid time off, including vacation, bereavement, jury duty, sick leave, parental leave, disability, and holidays)
    • Family support and care (Fertility and growing family support, parental leave and baby bonding leave)
    • Community and personal development (Educational reimbursement)
    • Googley extras (Inspiring spaces to work, recharge, and collaborate with fellow Googlers)
