Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience staffing project teams, management consulting, or corporate strategy.

  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with staffing and forecasting in fractional staffing models.

  • Experience with capacity planning models.

  • Experience building dashboards in BI tool.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, trends, and market dynamics.


About the job

In this role, you will partner with Professional Services managers to ensure that projects are efficiently staffed with the Googler, and that our Googlers are working on exciting projects that best suit their skills and career aspirations. This will involve setting a regular cadence with managers to ensure understanding of staffing requirements, timelines, and any changes to the requirements through the engagement. You will strategize with practice leaders on the best fulfillment strategy given the requirements of the project.In addition, you will identify and execute strategies to improve forecasting of both supply and demand in an effort to best support our growing Professional Services Organization (PSO) team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Strategy and Operations and Professional Services leadership to create best practices for staffing and utilization management.

  • Lead weekly staffing meetings with Professional Services teams and ensure supply and demand forecasts are accurate.

  • Work separately to match consultants with projects based on skill set, availability, timezone and other constraints.

  • Partner with team leadership to manage assigned consultants utilization, bandwidth and well being.

  • Develop new metrics for tracking staffing efficiency. Create and maintain relationships with practice managers and consultants.
