The Role: 

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will join a team of exceptionally skilled engineers who solve complex problems in the decentralized systems area, and contribute to building the core of the Golem platform. Your role will involve designing and implementing QA strategies, and ensuring the highest quality of the Golem Network platform. 

In this role, you would have space to share and develop your ideas, innovate to improve testing methodologies and other aspects of the Golem Network platform, such as runtimes (QEMU-based light VM), networking, scalability, reputation and security. In many aspects, we tackle unique problems that no one has addressed before, which makes this role challenging, exciting, and fulfilling.

What you’ll do with us: 

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies to ensure the quality of Golem’s decentralized computing platform. 
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Perform manual testing where necessary, ensuring thorough coverage of all aspects of the platform. 
• Work closely with development teams to integrate testing into the development process. 
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of QA processes and standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and 1:1s. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that Golem’s QA practices remain cutting-edge. 

You’re a great fit if: 

• You have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or managerial role. 
• You have extensive experience with QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
• You are proficient in creating and managing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar. 
• You have experience with manual testing and are meticulous in ensuring all features are thoroughly tested. 
• You have strong leadership skills. 
• You have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. 
• You are experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• You have strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how QA fits into it. 
• You are familiar with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub Actions. 
• You are skilled in using version control systems like GitHub.
• You can communicate fluently in English. 
• You have experience in the blockchain or decentralized applications space (preferred). 

It will be a plus if: 

• You have experience with Rust, Python, or Node.js. 
• You are familiar with virtualization frameworks and tools like QEMU.
• You have contributions to open-source projects related to QA or testing.
• You are enthusiastic about Blockchain, Web3, AI, or Distributed Networks.
