Join G2A.COM as a Senior Software Engineer and help build the core payment systems that power our organization. We operate where reliability, security, and performance are critical — from marketplace settlements and refunds to anti-fraud solutions and financial reporting.

In this role, you’ll work with both existing PHP code and cutting-edge services developed in Golang. Your daily tasks will include programming, configuration, and solving complex technical challenges — always with UX, performance, quality, and security in mind. You’ll develop new features, optimize current solutions, participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and support the stability and growth of key application platforms.

Your responsibilities:

1. Performing all IT-related tasks (software development, configuration, system integration, etc.) assigned to the team as part of ongoing IT projects
2. Solving complex technical problems with a focus on UX, performance, quality, and security
3. Designing new solutions and implementing modifications to optimize application platforms
4. Conducting application code and configuration reviews
5. Maintaining and improving the stability of existing application platforms
6. Creating and updating technical documentation

You’re a perfect match for the role, if:

1. You have at least 4 years of experience working with PHP
2. You have solid hands-on experience with Golang
3. You’re confident working with message queues such as RabbitMQ
4. Working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is part of your daily routine
5. You know MongoDB and know how to use it effectively
6. You have experience with ElasticSearch and understand how to leverage its capabilities in practice
7. You have at least a B2 level of English, allowing you to communicate freely both verbally and in writing
8. You’re open to challenges and personal development
9. You’re a communicative team player and enjoy working with others
