The Future Mind Team is looking for an IT Operations Engineer to provide company-wide support for all our internally used systems and services.

Since 2023, we have been part of the Solita group. At Future Mind, we use around 70-80 different tools, online services, and software packages in our everyday work. We’re looking for someone who will help us make the best use of these tools and ensure the highest standards of governance and security.

 

This role is all about:


  • mastering internal IT support - creating, implementing, and documenting state-of-the-art processes around software and hardware management at the company. Elevating internal IT processes towards the enterprise level,

  • designing and implementing automated processes around desktop and mobile provisioning and remote device management, including endpoint security and software packaging, and updates,

  • administering and advanced configuration of various internally used software tools,

  • designing, implementing, and managing integrations between tools and managing their interoperability capabilities, including working with development teams in creating custom software integrations that fit the requirements of our business,

  • optimizing and automating existing IT processes,

  • managing the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware devices at the company (mainly desktop/mobile endpoints with ~80% Apple devices fleet): documenting asset records in appropriate systems,

  • managing access and permissions to internal tools and systems,

  • working with HR during employee on/off-boarding - managing the IT aspects of that process, including setting up accounts within the systems required for particular roles,

  • providing internal teams with hardware and software support: triaging, responding, and resolving IT requests or escalating to appropriate teams,

  • designing, implementing, and managing IT self-service solutions,

  • educating employees on internal IT processes, including self-service options,

  • working directly with the project IT Support Team and internal DevOps Team. 


Here’s what we’re looking for:


  • 3+ years of experience as a 2nd or 3rd-tier IT Support Engineer,

  • practical experience working in IT roles for 5+ years, or an IT degree, will be an advantage,

  • good, administrative knowledge of MacOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, 

  • very good understanding (advanced configurations) of Jira and Confluence, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365

  • experience with automated endpoint provisioning using MDM solutions, preferably: Apple Business Manager, Jamf Pro and Intune,

  • basic scripting skills, needed for process automation,

  • strong ability and willingness to self-educate on technical subjects (API documentation, programming languages, software packaging),

  • knows and identifies with our core values.

  • a well-organized, self-motivated professional with good time-management skills,

  • strong ability to understand and troubleshoot complex problems,

  • high EQ - strong communication skills both verbally and in writing (documentation),

  • ability to propose new solutions to business challenges and needs, which are adequate in terms of cost, work effort, and complexity,

  • as the work involves direct contact with Solitans across 9 countries, knowledge of Polish and English (at least B2, preferably C1) is required for this position.
