Frontend Engineer

Funtico is a leading crypto-gaming company that merges fun with blockchain technology. We are a fast-growing organization, providing gaming experiences to a broad audience through the power of blockchain. We work with modern development tools like Linear, GitHub, Vercel, AWS, and Cloudflare, using automated deployment pipelines to serve high traffic globally. Our team embraces a results-driven, no-nonsense approach, with minimal meetings—just one daily sync, and anything else only as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance, scalable, and efficient web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Implement stunning animations with technologies like Spine player, GSAP, and Pixi.js to create engaging user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure smooth integration of APIs, with the ability to understand and read PHP, Node.js, or Go code as a bonus.
• Write clean, maintainable, and performant code, not just focusing on appearance but also on usability and performance optimization.
• Use SASS or Tailwind to style web applications and create reusable, scalable components.
• Work with GitHub, confidently handling merges, rebases, and pull requests, while maintaining a clean codebase and proper version control practices.
• Solve complex challenges related to high-traffic environments, ensuring scalability and fast loading times across all users.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where you'll ship code that will impact a large user base, far beyond small internal systems

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in frontend development.
• Expert knowledge of React.js and good knowledge of Next.js for server-side rendering and modern web development.
• Proven experience working with animations, particularly using Spine player, GSAP, Pixi.js, or similar technologies.
• Strong experience with SASS and/or Tailwind CSS for styling.
• A passion for frontend development and building both visually appealing and high-performance web applications.
• Ability to read and understand PHP, Node.js, or Go code is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub, with knowledge of the difference between merging and rebasing.
• Node.js and AngularJS experience is a big plus.
• Comfortable with a hybrid work setup in Warsaw
