Process, transform, and export data to formats like CSV
Integrate with external systems using XML/REST APIs, handling validation, transactions, and error scenarios
Configure and manage connections to multiple SQL databases, including multi-tenant setups
Work with VPNs, authentication, and connection management (host, port, user, password)
Collaborate with product, QA, and domain experts to understand client specifications and test solutions in sandbox environments
Contribute to improving code quality, maintainability, and system documentation
Requirements
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, especially in large monolithic repositories
Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines
Solid knowledge of SQL databases, different schemas, table structures, and multi-tenant configurations
Hands-on experience with VPNs, authentication, and connection handling
Experience with XML/REST integrations, including validation and transaction handling
Ability to quickly understand client specifications and test in sandbox environments
Nice to have
Experience in projects related to environmental regulations, energy, or finance
Familiarity with reporting systems like EMTS

Please note that this is a 1-month contract with the possibility of extension.
