DevOps Engineer (GCP)

The role

For a financial services project, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

You will work closely with development teams and take part in designing and improving system architecture, with a strong focus on automation, stability, and best practices.

What you’ll do

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure and ensure its stability, scalability, and security

• Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD processes to support reliable and frequent deployments

• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows, ensuring infrastructure and application state consistency

• Define and manage infrastructure as code, enabling repeatable and auditable deployments

• Support containerized applications in production, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting

• Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and proactively improve observability and reliability

• Automate operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve delivery efficiency

• Collaborate with development teams and contribute to system architecture and technical decisions

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer

• Commercial experience with GCP

• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows

• Good understanding of networking and security basics (VPC, IAM, DNS, TLS)

• Experience with Helm

• Experience with Python

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Ability to work in a bilingual environment (Polish B2+, English B2+)

• Nice to have: experience with Java
