Snowflake Architect / Lead Data Engineer (Senior & Mid)

Contract type: B2B

Pay: 190–210 PLN/h + VAT (depending on experience)

Project: Long-term international engagement

About the Role

We are looking for Snowflake experts to join a strategic data initiative built on Azure and Snowflake. The project focuses on designing secure, scalable data platforms and driving modern cloud data architecture.

We are primarily seeking a Snowflake Architect / Lead Data Engineer, but we are also open to Data Engineers with slightly less overall experience, provided they bring strong hands-on Snowflake expertise and solid data engineering fundamentals.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an international environment on modern data platforms with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data platforms using Snowflake and Azure

• Lead or contribute to data engineering initiatives and technical decisions

• Conduct Snowflake platform assessments with focus on security and scalability

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or Bicep

• Define and support data security, governance, and protection standards

• Support implementation of AI capabilities within Snowflake (e.g., Cortex AI)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements (Senior / Architect Profile)

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles

• 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake and Azure

• 2+ years of experience in a Snowflake Architect or Lead role

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)

• Experience with Snowflake AI capabilities (e.g., Cortex AI)

• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and Snowflake security (access control, encryption, auditing)

• Very strong data modeling skills

• Experience conducting Snowflake platform assessments

Requirements (Mid-Level Data Engineer Profile – also considered)

• 3–6 years of experience in Data Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (must-have)

• Good understanding of cloud environments (Azure preferred)

• Experience building data pipelines and working with modern data architectures

• Solid SQL and data modeling knowledge

• Willingness to grow towards architectural responsibilities

• Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks

• Consulting or advisory background

• Experience working in large-scale cloud environments
