ServiceNow ITOM Architect

Tasks

As a ServiceNow ITOM Architect, you will:

• Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.

• Define ITOM strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and platform best practices.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to accurately model services and dependencies.

• Design integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and external tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor).

• Ensure CMDB data quality and alignment with ITSM, ITAM, and other ServiceNow modules.

• Provide architectural guidance for MID Server deployment, credentials management, and integration performance.

• Establish standards, patterns, and reusable components for scalable ITOM implementations.

• Oversee solution delivery, conduct code reviews, and optimize platform performance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Minimum 7+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience, with at least 3 years focused on ITOM architecture.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale ITOM solutions.

• Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM suite (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB).

• Strong understanding of ITIL, CMDB architecture, and service mapping methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure integrations, API design, and event correlation.

• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices.

• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification (ITOM specialization preferred).

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and automation tools.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in English (C1/C2); other European languages are a plus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Experience with cloud operations, DevOps automation, and AI/ML-driven monitoring tools.
