Senior Java Developer with AI (100% Remote)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer (10+ years) who excels in backend development, is comfortable working across the full stack, and enjoys solving complex problems both independently and within a global team. You should be passionate about code quality, scalability, and modern development practices—while also leveraging AI and automation tools to deliver faster and smarter.

This role is fully remote and offers high autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to shape architecture and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and APIs using Java (Spring Boot), writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Build modular and responsive front-end applications with Vue.js (or similar frameworks) following UI/UX best practices.

• Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions on Azure using CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

• Automate end-to-end testing with Cypress and promote TDD practices.

• Integrate and utilize AI-powered tools to optimize development, testing, and code quality.

• Collaborate with global product owners, architects, and developers to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.

• Mentor team members and advocate for clean code, best practices, and continuous learning.

• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure high-quality outcomes within deadlines.

  
  

Tech Stack & Tools

Backend:

• Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate, WebFlux

• Strong understanding of JVM internals, concurrency, and functional programming

Frontend:

• Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, CSS/SCSS

Cloud & DevOps:

• Azure (App Services, AKS, Azure DevOps Pipelines)

• Docker, Kubernetes

• Git, branching strategies, GitHub Actions / Jenkins / Azure Pipelines

• Maven, Gradle, Infrastructure as Code

Testing:

• Cypress (UI/E2E), JUnit 5, Mockito (unit/integration)

AI & Quality:

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

• SonarQube, AI/ML libraries

Databases:

• PostgreSQL, MongoDB, schema design, query optimization

Monitoring & Logging:

• Prometheus, ELK stack

Agile:
