As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, test and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows
- Utilize Databricks to build scalable data solutions and optimize performance
- Ensure data quality, integrity and security across all data engineering processes
- Ensure adherence to best practices and Ways of Working
- Establish and promote best practices for version control using git
- Collaborate with PS Sustainability team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering. A master’s degree is preferred
- Extensive experience with git and managing version control in a collaborative environment
- Proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong proficiency in with Databricks and its ecosystem
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
- Domain leadership experience, i.e. the capability to mentor and guide team members
- Fluency in English
- Availability to travel onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark, on a need to basis
It will be considered and advantage, if you have experience with:
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Fabric (Particularly PowerBI)
- Nocode, lowcode tools like Alteryx
