Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, test and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows
• Utilize Databricks to build scalable data solutions and optimize performance
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security across all data engineering processes
• Ensure adherence to best practices and Ways of Working
• Establish and promote best practices for version control using git
• Collaborate with PS Sustainability team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering. A master’s degree is preferred
• Extensive experience with git and managing version control in a collaborative environment
• Proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong proficiency in with Databricks and its ecosystem
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies
• Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
• Domain leadership experience, i.e. the capability to mentor and guide team members
• Fluency in English
• Availability to travel onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark, on a need to basis

It will be considered and advantage, if you have experience with:

• Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Fabric (Particularly PowerBI)
• Nocode, lowcode tools like Alteryx
