Work Type: Full-time, hybrid role, 2/3 days per week in Warsaw
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard business working hours (occasional late meetings due to collaboration with EMEA and Asia regions)

Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned PMO professional with a strong background in program or portfolio management within the technology, banking, or consultancy sectors. This role requires a pragmatic, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively support and guide project managers across a complex technology portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring delivery excellence, enforcing best practices, and maintaining high standards of communication and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Establish and promote best practices in line with internal project and program management standards
Support and guide a team of project managers to ensure compliance with SDLC procedures, including regulatory and compliance requirements
Coordinate multiple projects and programs within the Finance and Risk Technology portfolio
Assist technology leads and PMs in managing project portfolios and delivery timelines
Track and report on project metrics and KPIs
Maintain and improve PMO methodologies, policies, and procedures
Provide mentoring and act as a subject matter expert for PMs
Facilitate project closure activities and benefit realization analysis
Manage release cycles and review project documentation as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide business and financial insights and support decision-making
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in PMO or program/portfolio management, preferably in large enterprise IT environments
Proven experience working with Technology Project Managers and PMO Leads
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Ability to guide and oversee multiple PMs and ensure delivery alignment
Excellent communication skills in English and Polish, both verbal and written
Strong presentation and documentation skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple concurrent projects
Experience in banking or financial services is preferred
Tools & Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Ability to create dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Confidence in presenting and defending recommendations to stakeholders
Certifications & Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in STEM fields
PMP or equivalent certification (e.g. SAFe Agilist) is a strong plus
Additional Information:
The role supports both Agile and Waterfall projects (understanding of both is required, but you will not manage the projects directly)
