OpenShift Subject Matter Expert

Tasks

• Design and advise on OpenShift architecture and integrations.

• Maintain and optimize OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support incident resolution.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.

• Plan capacity, perform platform upgrades, and automate operational tasks.

• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 3–6 years of experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes (SRE, DevOps, or similar roles).

• Strong knowledge of container orchestration, networking, and security.

• Hands-on experience with OpenShift CLI, Operators, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.

• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of OpenShift Service Mesh, Pipelines, and GitOps.

• Certifications (Red Hat OpenShift, CKA).

• Exposure to large-scale enterprise deployments and advanced networking solutions.
