Lead Drupal Developer

Location: 100% remote

Rate: 150–180 PLN net/hour (B2B)

Tasks

You will be a key member of the international Website & eCommerce team, responsible for managing over 140 websites built on Drupal and WordPress. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a distributed team of developers.

• Defining and implementing scalable and secure web architectures.

• Ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborating with DevOps engineers, solution architects, and product owners.

• Promoting best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.

• Participating in hands-on development and troubleshooting.

• Driving the transition to a new multisite Drupal 11 platform by 2026.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Drupal and WordPress, including custom module/plugin development, multilingual implementations, and headless/decoupled architectures.

• Strong frontend development skills, including proficiency in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, SCSS, and jQuery.

• Solid knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Familiarity with containerization and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and designing scalable applications.

• Proficiency with development and collaboration tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, Figma, and Confluence.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly PHPUnit.
