Java Kotlin Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Kotlin and Quarkus.

• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specifications.

• Integrate backend services with mobile front-end applications and third-party systems.

• Ensure scalability, performance, and high availability of services.

• Collaborate with mobile developers, solution architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver a cohesive platform experience.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile development processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in backend development with Kotlin.

• Hands-on expertise with Quarkus framework for building lightweight, container-first applications.

• Strong understanding and practical experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) for API design and documentation.

• Experience working on mobile application backends and service/data integration.

• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of RESTful service principles and microservice architectures.

• Experience working in agile teams and using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
