About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with modern Java technologies to design, build, and maintain high‑quality backend solutions that support key business applications. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, contribute to technical improvements, and ensure smooth, reliable system performance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, continuous learning, and working in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 17, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Batch.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend logic following industry best practices.

• Manage code repositories and collaborate effectively using Git.

• Support applications and stakeholders in accordance with ITIL guidelines.

• Write and execute test cases; contribute to test automation where applicable.

• Participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions, innovation initiatives, and community activities.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and help improve development standards.

• Work proactively to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong, hands‑on experience with Java 17.

• Solid knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Batch.

• Good understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.

• Experience using Git for version control.

• Experience writing and executing test cases.

• Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Selenium or other automation testing tools

  • Basic knowledge of Azure cloud

  • Frontend skills with Mendix or JavaScript frameworks

  • Experience with application support following ITIL
