IBMi (iSeries) Software Engineer

Location: Wrocław, Poland

Work Model: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

Contract Type: B2B (180–200 PLN/h + VAT)

Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled IBMi (iSeries) Software Engineer to join our team. If you’re an expert in RPG and CL programming with strong knowledge of the IBMi ecosystem, this position offers a great opportunity to work on exciting and technically challenging projects in a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications on the IBMi (iSeries) platform

• Work with RPG and CL programming languages

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions

• Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability

• Integrate systems using MQ and REST technologies

• Work with DB2 databases and SQL

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with RPG and CL

• In-depth understanding of the IBMi operating system

• Proficiency with DB2 and SQL

• Experience working with MQ and REST APIs

• Very good English—spoken and written

Nice-to-Have Skills (a strong plus)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of building AI models using RAG or CAG

• Experience with fine-tuning AI models
