About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced HR Services Associate (Payroll & HR Operations) to join a global HR team supporting payroll and HR operations across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for executing Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR processes, with a strong focus on payroll operations for the UK and Switzerland. The role requires attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. May assist with special projects. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
Responsibilities:
Execute employee lifecycle changes and Tier 2 processes including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and Leave of Absence
Manage HR systems data and ensure accuracy and completeness
Provide standard reporting to HR stakeholders and line managers
Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a payroll perspective
Ensure payroll-relevant data (e.g. bank details, promotions, annual leave) is provided and processed on time
Handle sensitive and complex employee queries and escalate when necessary
Collaborate with onboarding and HR teams to gather and verify data
Participate in HR system updates, UAT and regression testing
Support compliance with SOX, GDPR and data governance policies
Act as a key user and escalation point for HR technology platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow)
Contribute to special projects and process improvements
Requirements:
2/3+ years of experience in HR operations or payroll
Experience working in international teams across EMEA region
Understanding of payroll processes (ideally for UK and Switzerland) would be beneficial
Good knowledge of HR systems, preferably Workday (training provided if needed)
Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data
Understanding of leave of absence policies in EMEA
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Experience in reporting and HR system navigation
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in HR administration and reporting
Familiarity with automation tools and digital HR workflows
Knowledge of SLA, KPI and operational excellence standards
