DevOps Engineer/Github Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute migration from GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) to GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) for large enterprise environments.
• Conduct risk assessments and create detailed migration plans, timelines, and strategies.
• Perform migrations from multiple version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, Perforce, ClearCase, and others to GitHub SaaS.
• Ensure smooth transition of code repositories, branches, histories, and pull requests without data loss.

Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years experienced DevOps Engineer/GitHub Administrator to work on migration from Self-hosted/on-prem Github Enterprise Server (GHES) to GitHub Enterprise cloud/SaaS (GHEC) platform
• Experience with multiple migrations to GitHub SaaS from various source code management systems including Github, Gitlab, Perforce, ClearCase etc. with large enterprises
• You'll work with our global team of diverse and passionate engineers and project managers to design, build and maintain GitHub's services
• DevOps mindset towards creating reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions for large scale DevOps organizations
• Experience with Github Action/runners, CI/CD, automation and orchestration with the GitHub API for various integrations
