Responsibilities:

• Lead optimizations, upgrades, and maintenance activities for a Kubernetes‑based data and modeling platform.

• Provide support for access management and handle inquiries related to Airflow, including minor feature enhancements.

• Assist in the migration of data pipelines and contribute to improving data flow reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a DataOps Engineer or in a similar role covering most of the required skill set.

• Strong expertise in cloud architecture and core technologies, including Kubernetes, Airflow, and Managed Airflow.

• Deep knowledge of modern development tools and engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, Observability, Pair Programming, TDD).

• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks such as CloudFormation.

• Solid experience working with databases, especially Redshift.

• Proficiency in Python as a primary programming language.

• Ability to choose and apply appropriate design patterns in complex engineering environments.

• Demonstrated experience developing software with scalability, security, and reliability in mind.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.

• Practical experience with Test‑Driven Development and a strong focus on testing practices.
