Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with approximately 6 years of professional experience to lead the migration of legacy ETL systems to a modern, cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data modernization, cloud technologies, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of legacy ETL workflows (e.g., Informatica) to Azure-based data solutions.

• Analyze existing systems and define detailed migration plans to ensure minimal disruption.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to align on requirements and execution strategies.

• Design and implement modern data pipelines using tools such as PySpark and Databricks.

Expectations:

• Proven experience with traditional data warehouse and ETL systems (Informatica is a strong plus)

• Hands-on expertise with PySpark and Python

• Experience working with Databricks

• Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Experience in large-scale data migration projects

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data engineering
