Data Center Engineer (Nexus, ACI)

Responsibilities:

• Drives technology design, implementation, execution and/or optimization for customer projects/accounts.

• Works with customers to plan, design, configure and/or diagnose Cisco’s suite of products, services and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes

• Assists customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems and service assurance

• Supports presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design

• Builds customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues

• Creates and delivers customer collateral, portals, documentation and knowledge transfer

  
  

Requirements:

• Deep hands-on experience with APIC, fabric setup, contracts, policies, and multi-site

• Capable of troubleshooting fabric discovery issues, endpoint learning problems, StaticBindings, Bridge Domains, and L3Out configurations

• Strong knowledge and hands-on with OSPF, BGP, route maps, redistribution, andpeering

• Experience designing and implementing high-availability networks and failoverscenarios

• Expertise with NX-OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN

• Configuration and troubleshooting of Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k\

• Configuration and troubleshooting of Multicast routing

• Strong knowledge and hands-on with ACI device provisioning and upgrades

• Experience with data formats(XML,JSON) and Automation tools (NSO, Postman,Insomnia)
