We are looking for an AWS Security Engineer to join an international project team working on a large-scale IoT Core platform for a global enterprise organization. The client is undergoing an extensive cloud and security transformation, focusing on building secure, compliant, and scalable AWS-based solutions.

Role Overview

As an AWS Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and stability of cloud-based packaged and SaaS applications. The role requires deep expertise in AWS security services, strong ownership, and close collaboration with application, DevOps, and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS security controls across cloud environments

• Configure and secure packaged and SaaS applications hosted on AWS

• Manage identity, access control, and permissions (IAM, roles, policies)

• Monitor security posture, logs, and alerts; respond to security incidents

• Support secure application integrations using APIs and cloud-native services

• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and industry best practices

• Participate in security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments

• Collaborate with DevOps, platform, and application teams on secure deployments

• Create and maintain security documentation, runbooks, and procedures

• Stay up to date with emerging security threats and AWS security capabilities

  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, etc.)

• Experience securing packaged and SaaS applications

• Advanced proficiency in Packaged Development Estimating

• Advanced proficiency in Packaged Application Integration (recommended)

• Knowledge of SaaS testing and cloud software platforms (nice to have)

• Ability to work independently and act as a subject matter expert

Contract Details

• B2B hourly rate: 120–130 PLN+VAT/hour
