Cyber Security Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintenance and development of Cyber Defence infrastructure

• Responsibility for the architecture, implementation and stable operation of CDC infrastructure in on-premises and cloud environments

• Designing and maintaining network security mechanisms (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, VLAN), cloud security, endpoints and databases

• Operational use of threat intelligence, threat analysis, malware and digital artefacts

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience working in enterprise scale Linux environments including debugging and deep understanding on security features (RedHat Linux experience preferred)

• 5+ years experience developing complex Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code environments on premises and on cloud (Azure, AWS)

• 5-10+ years with IT-networks, protocols (incl. routing), VPN, VLAN etc. including debugging

• 5+ years experience with network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NDR, WAFs, etc.)

• Expert level knowledge and experience with all kind of encryption techniques; encryption algorithms, certificate management, key exchange

• 3-5+ years experience in cloud security (public and private clouds)

• 3-5+ years experience in threat intelligence; ability to identify and use state-of-the-art threat intelligence

• 5+ years experience with MISP (Malware Information Sharing Platform); installation, and operation incl. debugging

• Very good understanding of processes and procedures in all aspects of information security (incident management incl. triage, BCM, …)

• 5+ experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, Keycloak, Proxmox on premises

• 5+ years experience working and debugging databases (e.g., MySQL, Mongo DB, …)

• Good knowledge and understanding of Python

• Fluent English (German is a plus)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of: C, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, PHP

• Experience in the following tools is preferred: ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Splunk Phantom, Palo Alto Cortex, IBM Resilient
