Software Architect with Java and German

Your Responsibilities: 

• Design and development of VerBIS cluster architecture and framework components (Java VM, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate) 

• Implementation and maintenance of test automation processes 

• Support for build and operational activities 

• Developer enablement and architectural guidance 

• Execution of IT Security Officer (IT-SO) responsibilities 

• Contribution to cross-functional tasks within the team 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a software architect role 

• Deep expertise in Java VM, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate 

• Familiarity with architectural standards (e.g., TOGAF, Archimate) and tools such as Sparx EA, JIRA, MS Project 

• Fluent German (spoken and written) – project language is German 

• Good command of English 

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites in Germany 

• Willingness to undergo German security clearance (SÜG)
