DevOps Engineer
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a long-term project within an international and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems deployment, automation, and cloud infrastructure management. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setup, with occasional travel as required by the project.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using IaC principles (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible).
Cloud Development: Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native IT systems and services using major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
Microservices & Containerization: Architect and implement scalable, distributed systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
Serverless & Modern Architectures: Develop and support serverless applications leveraging cloud-native services.
Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for cloud security, access control, encryption, and compliance with organizational security standards.
Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and visibility.
Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure and code.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Strong technical skills in IT system deployment, assembly, and administration.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Familiarity with Maven.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Possession of EU/NATO security clearance or Polish citizenship and the ability to undergo verification in order to obtain EU/NATO security clearance.
