Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)
The Role:
- Ensuring on-time delivery of IT projects, within the committed budget and with the expected quality.
- Integrating contributions from various teams into a globally consistent plan, in alignment with our Agile Operating Model.
- Writing comprehensive project memos to enable informed decision-making by Business Sponsors and IT management.
- Providing regular status reports to senior management and various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain project plans and forecasts, including resource requirements, costs, dependencies, risks, and their mitigations.
- Manage virtual teams across various divisions and entities, including third-party suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and customers, providing advice, guidance, and options regarding IT investments.
- Define project governance (deliverables, processes, and ceremonies) and supervise the progress and quality of its execution.
- Lead the risk, issue, and change control processes for assigned projects, and build action plans to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and track action items.
- Control and supervise the progress of projects, reporting to senior management and the Sponsorship Committee.
- Manage projects in accordance with internal standards (methodology & tools) and our Agile Operating Model.
Profile:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management role, with a mastery of Agile methodology.
- Strong leadership skills to adapt your style according to the situation and different stakeholders.
- A good technical and business understanding.
- Interpersonal skills to influence decisions made with the project sponsor/client.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management.
- The ability to learn quickly in a complex environment and to synthesize the situation.
- Strong negotiation skills, conflict management, and influencing skills at different levels of management.
- Effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control.
- Assertiveness to drive tasks to completion.
- Proficiency in English.
Assets:
- Certification in PRINCE2 and/or PMI (or similar IT frameworks).
- Agile Certified Practitioner.
