Division: GDC (Group Digital Capabilities)
We are looking for a Senior Transversal Business Analyst to join the Collateral squad within the GDC Digital Engagement Solutions tribe, whose mission is to provide IT solutions to support Contract Management and Collateral of the Euroclear Bank.
You will be part of the Contract Management and Collateral Squad which offers an exciting opportunity to participate in the further modernization of the company IT landscape. In this role you will gather, clarify, and document the business requirements for the squad to be in an optimal position to deliver this multi-year program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT communities on topics that can impact other tribes and/or divisions.
- Facilitate communication between business and IT communities.
- Develop effective relationships with business units, divisions, or groups of users.
- Evaluate new applications against business functional and non-functional requirements.
- Understand the business drivers behind initiatives/changes and their added value to the organization.
- Contribute to delivering new systems or modifications through business analysis.
- Understand the needs of internal and external clients, mainly through interviews.
- Question and challenge the needs of internal and external clients.
- Identify, describe, and validate business solutions to meet end users’ requirements.
- Manage the relationship between Businesses and IT communities on topics that can impact other tribes and/or divisions.
- Document business requirements in a structured form that can be translated into functional and technical specifications.
- Consider non-functional requirements such as computer equipment capacity, security, auditability, limitations, operating time, and desired results.
- Consider the business implications of applying technology to the current business environment.
- Consider the impact on internal teams and external clients.
- Assist in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how these automated functions integrate into business and IT processes.
- Provide advice on business analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Validate functional designs derived from business analysis.
- Support the preparation and execution of testing phases and during the roll-out phase (e.g., client documentation).
- Facilitate the implementation and deployment of system changes to stakeholders by providing support, advice, and guidance throughout the project life cycle.
- Be the guardian of the project business scope.
- Support IT colleagues through the project development process, including testing and deployment phases.
- Lead, coach, and collaborate closely with other BA team members.
- Prepare communications and make business presentations on business solutions and system enhancements and/or alternatives.
- Produce Business Analysis, Business Impact Analysis.
- Describe business processes.
- Support Product Owner in Product Backlog Items (PBIs) writing and prioritization.
- Clarify PBIs until ready.

Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with IT focus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing Agile methodologies; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.
- Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
- Good knowledge of Contract Management and Collateral banking services.
- Good understanding of the capital market, bond issuance and pre-issuance multi-parties workflow, settlement and custody activities, and the underlying business risks.
- Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation and Collaboration, Requirements Life Cycle Management, Strategy Analysis, Requirements Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.
- Preferred experience within large-sized Agile implementations.
- Proven expertise in defining Epics, Features, User stories, and PBIs.
- SQL knowledge with the ability to build queries using joins.
- Experience in Functional and Automation Testing would be an asset.
- Ability to read code would be a plus.
