Non-Functional Testing Engineer

The Role:

Euroclear have an exciting opportunity for a Non-Functional Testing Engineer to join our UK Testing Squad. The successful candidate will be assisting the Product Owners to shape, lead and manage Non-Functional test requirements and build a sound and thorough Non-Functional testing practice.

Applicants must have hands-on experience with implementing and updating test strategies, Resilience, Disaster Recovery, CPU Usage, Microservices, security, Alerting, Monitoring etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the definition and testing of non-functional requirements (NFRs) as part of the Technology transformation (JAVA, KAFKA, Linux, Cloud, API)
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure non-functional requirements are clearly defined and are testable
• Define and articulate the Non-Functional Test Strategy
• Design and execute NFR testing cycles, coordinating efforts with external teams until bottleneck resolution through root cause examination. Documenting test results, and compiling results into consolidated high-level reports

Requirements:

• Experience of working as Non-Functional Tester ideally within Financial Services
• Demonstrate working within large scale Technology Implementation or change
• Extensive knowledge of non-functional testing including performance, Scalability, reliability, Failover/ Disaster Recovery, accessibility testing
• Extensive experience of using testing tools e.g., Performance Center/ Loadrunner, ADS, Selenium, Xray
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive non-functional test approach/plans and cases
• Hands on experience of agile Development practices, DevOps pipelines, continuous integration / deployment and test automation
