DLT/Web3 Solution Architect

Role Overview

As a Solution Architect specializing in DLT, EVM, and Corda, you will define and drive the technology architecture for solutions leveraging these technologies within the financial industry, particularly in CSD and post-trade market infrastructures. You will bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and future-proof, while staying ahead of market and regulatory trends in both DeFi and TradFi.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the technology architecture and direction for DLT-based solutions (EVM, Corda), ensuring alignment with Euroclear’s business and regulatory requirements.

• Lead technical ideation, proof of concept, and product delivery for new opportunities in financial market infrastructure.

• Act as a technology partner for business stakeholders, advising on the adoption and integration of DLT, EVM, Corda, and related technologies.

• Stay informed on global regulatory developments and market trends in both DeFi and TradFi, ensuring solutions are compliant and competitive.

• Evangelize the benefits and manage the risks of emerging technologies, presenting clear business cases to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate across multiple teams and organizations, influencing architectural decisions and removing technical blockers.

• Operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities and delivering actionable results.

• Maintain a broad awareness of the DLT ecosystem, including key players, competitive threats, and innovation opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on DLT, EVM, and Corda.

• In-depth knowledge of financial industry operations, particularly in CSD and post-trade market infrastructures.

• Familiarity with both DeFi and TradFi ecosystems, understanding their convergence and impact on financial markets.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and agile operating models.

• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and deliver pragmatic solutions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

• Passion for emerging technologies and market trends in DLT, cloud, APIs, and financial innovation.

Desirable

• Experience with cloud solutions, AI, and API integration in financial services.

• Knowledge of ESG trends and their impact on financial market infrastructure.

• Experience with Kanton is a plus.

The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
