Job Family:
- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Drafts, revises, and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.
- Builds test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
- Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha, and beta testing.
- Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and detailed, and all problems are resolved.
- Contributes to or manages the deployment preparation and execution for both Pre-Production and Production until the warranty period.
General Description:
- Leads testing in a sophisticated environment or for one or more standard to larger projects.
- Manages the preparation and deployment of systems and/or applications.
- Formulates the test and deployment strategy for their area, plans, and leads work to ensure the delivery of the product within quality standards.
- May lead a team, project, or resources for a project. Acts as the main reference point for critical issues and is encouraged to plan and supervise the work of the team as well as external vendors.
- Recognized as an expert in testing.
- Automation experience is highly beneficial.
Role:
- Requires project management, organizational, and people leadership skills, as well as being a recognized expert in testing.

Experience with test coordination across multiple squads/departments.

Formulates the test strategy, including the deployment approach.
- Specifies and plans the corresponding activities, and leads their execution.
- Ensures that testing is carried out within budget and established procedures, meeting the project testing objectives within quality, time, and budget targets.
- Suggest and implement test improvements through the participation to testing community of practice
- Analyzes and supervises risks in the area of testing, identifying their potential consequences and taking appropriate actions to avoid them materializing into issues.
- Validates the product design documentation to ensure that requirements are suitable for testing, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Leads, guides, and supervises the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test cases, test procedures, and/or test suites.
- Schedules tests for execution and then monitors, measures, controls, and reports on the test progress, product quality status, and test results, adapting the test plan as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
- Produces a summary test report at the end of the project.
- May manage the deployment (consolidate release scenario, collect authorizations, coordinate change delivery, and support operations right after deployment).
- Considers future implications beyond immediate problems and may generate innovative approaches and procedures to structurally solve them.
- Provides feedback and development input into quality assurance processes/methodologies and risk management strategy.
- Works with a high level of autonomy, with performance and achievements subject to managerial review.
- Requires highly developed skills to empower, encourage, and persuade in the context of frequent interactions with a large and heterogeneous set of collaborators.
- Has a direct impact on the quality and stability of non-stop applications and systems, avoiding disruption to critical services and maintaining a competitive advantage for the company.
- Works and communicates with other collaborators and vendors to ensure an effective quality assurance process is maintained and developed in the organization.
- May mentor other testers into this role and supervise the development and assess the performance of Test Analysts.

Euroclear specificities: The role may cover new or updated business applications and system infrastructure testing.
Requirements:

Experience in test coordination with multiple squads/departments (ideally some project management experience).
- Familiarity with formal documentation for testing (experience in drafting HLTLS and risk-based approaches).
- Good knowledge of automation frameworks for screens and API testing.
- Experience in performance testing (including performance testing methodology and tooling).
- Test environment and data management experience.
- Willingness to go hands-on with testing when needed.

Proactive, curious, and possesses good communication/presentation skills.

Strong presence, not afraid to escalate and push to make things happen.

Open to addressing different levels of stakeholders.
- Able to train and mentor other testers.
- Experience as a team leader in T-shaped teams would be an asset.
