We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Expert/Lead to join our CICD Platform Services team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing CI/CD platform tools and software, including Azure DevOps, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and HCL Appscan. This position is crucial for driving our main initiative of migrating from Azure DevOps Server (on-prem) to Azure DevOps Services (on the Azure Cloud).
Responsibilities:
- Technical Lead CI/CD Platform Management: collaborate with the CI/CD Platform Product Owner to determine the strategical evolution of the CICD platform tools and software
- Take a lead role in the daily operations and technical management of all CI/CD platform tools and software, ensuring seamless operation and integration across the organization
- Spearhead the migration from Azure DevOps Server (on-prem) to Azure DevOps Services (on the Azure Cloud), ensuring minimal disruption and optimal execution
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of CI/CD practices and standards
- Tool Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve CI/CD tools and processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancement
- Training and Mentorship: Mentor and train team members on best practices and innovative technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all CI/CD tools and processes comply with security standards and regulatory requirements
- Work outside of business hours is sometimes required as launches in production are generally carried out after 5PM or on Saturday as well as watch duty during nights and weekends
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in managing and optimizing CI/CD platform tools such as Azure DevOps, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and HCL Appscan
- Strong background in leading migrations from on-premises to cloud-based solutions, particularly in Azure DevOps
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to details
- Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance in CI/CD environments
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Certifications in related technologies and practices
