IT Support Intern
Key Duties and Requirements: A Roadmap to Your Professional Success 🚀
Your Mission: To be the first line of defense for our employees’ technical issues and ensure the physical flow of IT assets runs smoothly. You will work closely with and report to the IT Security Lead, who will mentor you and provide procedures to follow.
Scope of responsibilities:
L1 User Support
Acting as the first point of contact for employees regarding IT issues
Troubleshooting basic hardware and software problems
Provide support to the administrative department
Escalating complex issues to the IT & Security Lead based on defined criteria
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless IT operations
Onboarding & Offboarding Execution:
Preparing workstations and phones for new hires
Creating and maintaining user accounts based on procedures
Handling equipment returns and data wiping for departing employees
Asset Management & Logistics:
Physical handling of IT hardware
Keeping the inventory 100% up-to-date
Performing physical inventory checks in the office
Documentation & Maintenance
Writing simple “How-to” guides for users
Performing routine maintenance tasks
Here’s a set of skills we require:
Knowledge of MacOS/Windows
IT hardware knowledge
Troubleshoot problems with systems and programs
Communicative proficiency in English
Very good command of the Polish language
Nice to have:
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
Basic understanding of computer networks
Familiarity with Jira and other task management tools to efficiently organize and track project tasks
Ability to navigate and leverage the features of Google Workspace for collaborative work, communication and document management
Prior experience working with Apple devices and hardware
