Senior Python Engineer with Angular

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Engineer with experience in Angular to join a Project for our Client, a global multinational oilfield services company.

It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain software applications focusing primarily on backend development using Python alongside core and frontend components using Angular
2. Create, utilize, and manage RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data exchanges between systems
3. Work with both relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and Redis, to enable scalable and efficient data handling
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical solutions meeting project goals
5. Conduct testing, debugging, and refactoring to uphold high code quality
6. Remain current with emerging technologies and software development best practices
7. Contribute to projects involving Databricks and refine pipeline workflows within Continuous Delivery Frameworks if required
8. Apply domain expertise from the Oil & Gas sector to create industry-specific solutions when applicable

Requirements

1. Proficiency in Python programming
2. Background in frontend development using Angular
3. Familiarity with PostgreSQL database and Redis cache
4. Understanding of Python OOP principles and RESTful APIs

1. Proficiency in Databricks
2. Background in the Oil and Gas Industry
