Senior JavaScript Developer

We are seeking a talented developer with advanced expertise in asynchronous JavaScript and hands-on experience with OpenFin APIs to build high-performance desktop applications for the financial sector. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong understanding of FDC3 standards to enable secure and standardized interoperability between financial applications.

Please note that the role requires working from the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance desktop applications using JavaScript, focusing on asynchronous programming paradigms (Promises, async/await, event-driven and messaging architectures)

• Utilize OpenFin APIs to create, manage, and optimize application windows, inter-application messaging, and custom integrations

• Implement FDC3 protocols to ensure secure and standardized communication between financial applications

• Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance in complex, real-time environments

• Collaborate with team members to arrange in-office days and hours flexibly, based on project needs and meetings

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, with a strong focus on asynchronous programming and 3+ years of relevant experience

• Hands-on experience with OpenFin APIs for desktop application development

• Solid understanding of FDC3 standards and protocols for financial app interoperability

• Background in ReactJS

• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills in real-time, complex environments

• Good work ethic and strong sense of ownership of the end result

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, B2 level of English
